What is Prepdeck?

The Prepdeck is an all-in-one cutting board, and food prep station.

Prepdeck: Cutting Board

The key feature of the Prepdeck is the cutting board turned sleek exterior. Sitting on the counter, all closed up, the Prepdeck looks like a large rectangular block. That block folds out to reveal all sorts of goodies, and a big flat surface that works as a cutting board.

It’s magnetically attached so it’s super easy to pull off for easy cleaning!

One thing I do like about the cutting board is how it folds up to keep everything stored nicely inside the prepdeck

Prepdeck: Food Storage

The little food storage containers are a key piece of the Prepdeck. They all sit nicely aligned at the top of your Prepdeck, ready to hold (and portion) your fresh cut veggies or meats.

Another thing I love about the food storage containers are the markings along the side. Need ⅓ cup of diced onions? You can measure out the portions directly in the container with the markings that are on the side of the cup! So handy!!

Prepdeck: Spice Storage

The Prepdeck also comes with six “mini” food storage containers. These are designed to hold spices and oils while you’re cooking. (And they also have the markings to help you measure.)

you can’t set them down on the counter. They rounded on the bottom and will only stay upright when nestled into the Prepdeck base.

But when used to pre-portion your oils and spices, they make the whole cooking process a lot of “dump and go” – which is, in my opinion, one of the easiest ways to cook!

Prepdeck: Trash Tray

Here’s where things really start to get fancy. You know all the scraps that accumulate when cutting up vegetables? (You know – the potato peel and the ends of the onion?) There’s a little compartment in the back of the Prepdeck that you can slide all your scraps into. Then, when you’re done cooking, the compartment easily slides out so you can dump the scraps into your compost or trash!

I was concerned about little bits of trash getting stuck to all the crevices of my Prepdeck, but I’ve found it to be quite wipeable and easy to keep clean.

Now that you know what’s included with the Prepdeck, let me dive into how to use it.

The Prepdeck is designed to be your all in one work station for cooking. The goal is for the Prepdeck to contain the mess and account for most of the utensils and containers you need while meal prepping, so that when you’re done you don’t have a big mess spread across your kitchen.

To get started, simply pop open your prepdeck so you have the cutting board flat in front of you and the provided containers on the ledge behind the cutting board.

Normal marks from age and wear but to me it seem to be in great condition
