Product Description

The WESTINGHOUSE 663862R is a small liquid line service valve designed for use in split system air conditioner and heat pump applications. This 3/8-inch valve provides a reliable shutoff and service access point on the liquid line of the refrigerant circuit. It is a direct-fit replacement component intended for installation by licensed HVAC technicians servicing residential split systems. The valve is sized specifically for 3/8-inch liquid line connections, making it appropriate for the smaller-capacity equipment it is designed to serve.

This valve is used on split system air conditioners and heat pumps in residential installations. It provides a serviceable isolation point on the liquid refrigerant line, allowing technicians to recover refrigerant, check system charge, or swap components without fully decommissioning the system. Compatible model families include the S5BA, S5BX, and T5BX series split systems.
