Product Description

The TROY-BILT 753-10404 is a starter housing assembly designed for use in Troy-Bilt lawn and garden power equipment. The starter housing encloses and protects the recoil starter mechanism, providing the structural mounting point for the pull-start system on small-engine outdoor power units. This is an OEM-specification replacement part intended for installation by small-engine service technicians or experienced equipment operators performing recoil starter repairs.

This starter housing is applicable to Troy-Bilt lawn and garden equipment equipped with compatible recoil pull-start engines. Typical install scenarios include housing replacement due to cracking, breakage from impact, or degradation of the mounting tabs that secure the starter assembly to the engine block. It is suited for residential-grade outdoor power equipment serviced in the field or in a small-engine shop.
