Up for sale is a beautiful piece of vintage American laboratory history: a **General Radio Company Type 510-P Decade Resistance Box**. Known for their legendary, military-grade build quality, General Radio equipment remains highly sought after by vintage radio hobbyists, amplifier builders, and test gear collectors.

This custom two-dial unit features heavy-duty ceramic switch wafers and precision wire-wound resistor coils housed in a clean, robust aluminum benchtop enclosure.

### Dial Configurations:

* **Left Dial (Thousands):** Steps of 1,000 Ohms (23 mA MAX)

* **Right Dial (Hundreds):** Steps of 100 Ohms (80 mA MAX)

### Condition & Testing:

* **Tested & Working:** This unit has been carefully evaluated on the test bench using an analog multimeter.

* **Serviced Switches:** The mechanical switch contacts were thoroughly cycled to remove decades of surface oxidation and tarnish.

* **Stable Readings:** The internal wire-wound precision resistors are rock-solid, and the meter needle snaps cleanly and smoothly to each exact incremental value (e.g., reads exactly 1,000 Ohms at Position 1 on the Thousands dial).

* **Cosmetics:** Very clean vintage condition with some light, honest bench wear, surface marks, and patina consistent with age. No deep gouges or structural damage. Faceplate lettering is crisp and legible. The dials rotate with a satisfying, firm mechanical click.

*Please review the photos carefully to evaluate the physical condition for yourself. Sold as-described, working on arrival.*
