Up for sale are a number of Direct Scientific #DS-03 lead-lined stainless steel 3 quart (2.84 liter) storage containers. These were also sold as Atlantic Nuclear #16A-03.

They are USA-made stainless steel containers which have been lined with a 1/8" thick lead sheet around the sides, on the bottom, and on the lid. The wall and bottom are soldered together for a smooth, liquid-tight liner with no gaps.

***Please note this listing is for ONE container. If you need multiples, you can enter the quantity needed in the box.***

Each container weighs almost exactly 10lbs.

Excellent for storing hot samples (uranium glass, hot rocks, radium watches or gauges, etc.) or calibration/check sources.

These containers were purchased and labeled but then just sat on a shelf for the last few years without being used. They are clean and ready to go.

Atlantic sold these for $730 each. Direct sells them for similar.

I'm listing them here much cheaper!

Local inspection and pickup in San Diego, California is welcomed and encouraged.
