Product Description

The TROY-BILT 753-06225 is a short block engine assembly for the AC3.1 engine platform used in outdoor power equipment. A short block includes the assembled engine block, crankshaft, piston, connecting rod, and internal bearings, but does not include the cylinder head, carburetor, ignition components, or external accessories. This assembly is the correct service replacement when internal engine wear or damage requires a bottom-end rebuild without replacing the entire power unit. Installation is typically performed by small engine technicians or experienced outdoor power equipment mechanics.

The 753-06225 short block is designed for use in TROY-BILT lawn and garden equipment built around the AC3.1 engine configuration. This includes walk-behind mowers, tillers, and similar residential-grade power equipment where the AC3.1 engine platform is the factory-installed unit. When a short block replacement is performed, the technician transfers serviceable external components from the original engine to the replacement assembly.
