Product Description

The TROY-BILT gw-2146 is a replacement bushing designed for use in Troy-Bilt lawn and garden equipment. Bushings serve as low-friction bearing surfaces between moving components, reducing wear on shafts, pivot points, and linkage assemblies. This part is sourced as a direct OEM-style replacement, maintaining the fit and function of the original component. Installation is typically performed by small-engine equipment technicians or experienced equipment owners performing routine maintenance and repair on outdoor power equipment.

This bushing is suited for use in Troy-Bilt lawn and garden applications where a worn, cracked, or failed bushing requires replacement. Typical service scenarios include drivetrain linkage repair, deck pivot replacement, or chassis component rebuilds on Troy-Bilt walk-behind and riding equipment.

Installation Notes

Bushing replacement on outdoor power equipment should be performed with the engine off, the ignition key removed, and the spark plug wire disconnected. A press fit or mallet may be required depending on housing tolerances. Inspect the mating shaft or pivot pin for wear before installing the new bushing, as a worn shaft will accelerate bushing failure. Consult the equipment service manual for assembly sequence and torque guidance specific to the application.
