Product Description

The WHIRLPOOL wp3149400vp is an OEM infinite switch designed as a direct replacement for compatible Whirlpool cooking appliances. An infinite switch controls the power output to an electric surface burner by cycling the heating element on and off at variable rates, allowing the user to dial in any heat level between low and high. This part is installed by appliance repair technicians and experienced service professionals working on electric ranges and cooktops. It is a factory-replacement component sourced directly from the Whirlpool parts channel.

This infinite switch is intended for use in residential electric cooking appliances manufactured by Whirlpool. It fits applications where the original surface burner control switch has failed, resulting in a burner that does not heat, heats at only one level, or does not shut off. Technicians typically encounter this failure during surface element diagnostics on standard electric freestanding and slide-in ranges.
