Product Description

The ARIENS 7202400 is a 4L-wrapped V-belt designed for use in Ariens lawn and garden equipment drive systems. The 4L cross-section designation indicates a fractional-horsepower belt profile with a wrapped construction, meaning the cord and rubber core are enclosed in a fabric cover for added durability and resistance to heat and slippage. This belt transfers power between pulleys in the drive train and is a direct OEM-style replacement part. Installation is typically handled by a small engine technician or experienced equipment owner performing scheduled maintenance or drive system repair.

This V-belt is suited for residential lawn and garden equipment applications where the 4L belt profile is specified. Typical install scenarios include mower deck belt replacement, traction drive belt service, or other accessory drive repairs on Ariens-branded outdoor power equipment. Always verify the belt profile and length against the equipment service manual before installation to confirm fitment.

Installation Notes

Disconnect the spark plug wire and allow all moving parts to come to a complete stop before servicing the drive belt. Route the replacement belt according to the routing diagram in the equipment service manual, ensuring proper seating in all pulley grooves. Avoid prying the belt over pulley flanges with sharp tools, as this can damage the belt cover. A qualified small engine technician should perform this service if the operator is unfamiliar with drive system components.
