Product Description

The MARANTZ 172010008005s is a VFD (vacuum fluorescent display) board designed as a direct replacement part for the Marantz SR7005 AV receiver. This component drives the front-panel display, rendering source input labels, volume levels, and system status readouts visible to the operator. It is an OEM-style replacement intended for repair technicians and electronics service professionals performing component-level service on Marantz home theater receivers. Proper function of this board is essential to receiver operability, as a failed display can prevent normal user interaction with the unit.

This part is applicable to consumer electronics repair scenarios where the original VFD display has failed due to age, power surge, or physical damage. It is suited for bench-level repair performed by electronics technicians or experienced service professionals. The GP1261AI designation corresponds to the display module assembly used in the SR7005 receiver platform.
