Belar FMMA-1 “The Wizard” FM Digital Modulation Monitor/Analyzer

Clean, fully tested and working example of Belar’s classic microprocessor-controlled digital FM modulation analyzer. This is the highly regarded “Wizard” unit that measures peak modulation, peaks-per-minute, average peak modulation, modulation density, and more with excellent accuracy. This was a spare unit we kept on the shelf.

I have personally tested this unit and it works great. Powers up cleanly, displays correctly, menus and functions operate as expected, and it is ready for service.

Key Features:

Precise digital measurement of total peak modulation (percent and kHz deviation)
Peaks-per-minute counting with adjustable thresholds
Peak average, average/peak ratio, and peak minimum readings
Adjustable peak hold time and peak weighting
Two composite loop-thru ports with remote gain control capability
Large 4-digit LED modulation display + 16-character alphanumeric menu display
RS-232 port for remote operation and logging with Belar Wizard software
Works standalone or with Belar FMM-2, FMS-2, RFA-4, FMSA-1, and other companions
1RU rackmount chassis

Ideal for broadcast engineers needing accurate off-air or in-line FM modulation analysis, remote monitoring, or proof-of-performance work.

Condition: Great overall condition. Fully tested and works great. Cosmetically clean with only normal light rack wear.

Please see photos for exact condition. Happy to answer questions or provide additional photos if needed. This will be packed to arrive safe anywhere.
