34 Sets 1/4-20 x 3/4" Wood Threaded Inserts Kit – Zinc-Plated Carbon Steel Hex Drive Furniture Screw Nut Fasteners with Installation Hex Spanner Wrench

PRODUCT OVERVIEW

Create high-strength, reusable metal threads in wood materials with this 34-set pack of furniture screw nut threaded inserts. Featuring a 1/4-20 UNC internal machine thread and a sharp, coarse external thread profile, these fasteners bite deeply into hardwood, softwood, MDF, and particle board to provide exceptional pull-out resistance.

Forged from heavy-duty zinc-plated carbon steel, these inserts prevent corrosion, thread stripping, and joint loosening during repeated disassembly and reassembly. Complete with an installation hex spanner wrench, this hardware kit provides a reliable solution for flat-pack furniture assembly, chair leg repairs, cabinetry, and custom woodworking projects.

IMPORTANT DRILLING & INSTALLATION NOTES

PILOT HOLE RECOMMENDATION: Pre-drill a pilot hole prior to driving inserts. For softwood, use a 3/8" (0.375") drill bit. For dense hardwoods, use a slightly larger bit (approx. 25/64" or 13/32") to prevent wood splitting.

FLUSH DRIVING TECHNIQUE: Drive the insert straight into the pre-drilled hole until the top rim sits flush or slightly below the wood surface. Do not over-torque past flush depth to avoid stripping out the wood threads.

Please allow 1–2mm manual measurement tolerance.
